Awards for enterprise

Successful firms from the health and pharmaceutical sectors interested in applying for the 2010 Queen's Awards for Enterprise have been urged to complete their applications by this year's deadline of 2pm on 30 October 2009.

The Queen's Awards for Enterprise aim to recognise and reward outstanding UK-based businesses in three areas – International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.

Any number of firms can win a Queen's Award if they meet the required standard, and entry is free. Application forms are available at http://www.queensawards.org.uk. Winners will be announced on 21 April 2010 before being invited to a special Royal reception at Buckingham Palace in the summer.
