What does it taste like?

Colgate FluoriGard AF has a mint flavour, to help maximise patient compliance.

What type of patient is FluoriGard AF suitable for?

Colgate FluoriGard AF is suitable for any patients who may need or prefer an alcohol-free rinse; such as children, patients who are pregnant, patients who have religious beliefs and patients who suffer from xerostomia.

How do my patients use FluoriGard AF?

For patients aged 6 years and over, they are to rinse with Colgate FluoriGard AF once per day, preferably after brushing teeth. They are to rinse 5-10ml around the mouth and between the teeth for one minute and then spit out. Patients are not to eat, drink or rinse mouth for at least 15 minutes afterwards.

How does FluoriGard AF work?

Sodium fluoride reduces caries by inhibiting demineralisation and promoting remineralisation of the tooth surface.
