Colgate-Palmolive is proud of its state-of-the art research and development facility in Piscataway, New Jersey where our scientists develop technologies to improve oral health.
The Colgate Technology Center includes laboratories that focus on early research and product development as well as an on-site dental clinic managed by practicing dentists and hygienists. Safety testing and research are also important parts of the technology center.
In addition, there is an on-site consumer testing site to ensure that our products promote patient acceptance and compliance.
Every year, hundreds of visitors from various areas of dentistry and geographies visit our technology center. Visitors have the opportunity to meet with our scientists and discuss our products and technologies and experience our scientists' commitment to oral health research. These interactions and partnerships help our scientists understand the needs and priorities of oral health research.
In 2006, Colgate partnered with the Forsyth Institute, the world's leading independent organization dedicated to scientific research and education in oral health, to create the Colgate-Forsyth Center for Advancement of Global Oral Health.
