Colgate® Peroxyl® is a cleanser in the symptomatic relief of aphthous ulcers, pericoronitis and trauma from fixed orthodontic braces.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF COLGATE® PEROXYL®?
24 months for a 300ml bottle and 18 months for a 50ml sample size bottle.
DOES COLGATE® PEROXYL® STAIN THE TEETH?
There is no evidence to suggest that use of this product stains the teeth.
WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
Colgate® Peroxyl® is mint flavoured.

CAN I RECOMMEND PATIENTS USE COLGATE® PEROXYL® AS A GENERAL MAINTENANCE MEASURE?
In cases of self medication, it is recommended that the duration of use should not exceed 7 days.
HOW DO MY PATIENTS USE COLGATE® PEROXYL®?
Adults and children should rinse with 10ml (half a capful) for approximately one minute, and then spit out. It is to be used 3 times daily (after meals and at bedtime) or as directed. Children between the ages of 6-12 years old should be supervised by an adult when using Colgate® Peroxyl®.
