Colgate® FluoriGard Fluoride Rinse is suitable for any patients who may need or prefer an alcohol-free rinse including children, patients who are pregnant, patients who have religious beliefs or patients who suffer from xerostomia.
WHAT DOES COLGATE® FLUORIGARD® FLUORIDE RINSE CONTAIN TO PROVIDE DAILY CAVITY PROTECTION?
Colgate® FluoriGard Fluoride Rinse contains Sodium Fluoride BP 0.05% w/w (225 ppm F) to provide daily cavity protection.
WHAT DOES COLGATE® FLUORIGARD® FLUORIDE RINSE TASTE LIKE?
Colgate® FluoriGard Fluoride Rinse has a mint flavour, to help maximise patient compliance.
HOW DO MY PATIENTS USE COLGATE® FLUORIGARD® FLUORIDE RINSE?
For patients 6 years and over use Colgate® FluoriGard Daily Rinse once a day rinsing with 5-10 ml around the mouth for one minute before spitting out. Patients should not eat, drink or rinse their mouth for at least 15 minutes after use.
HOW DOES COLGATE® FLUORIGARD® FLUORIDE RINSE WORK?
Sodium fluoride reduces caries by inhibiting demineralisation and promoting remineralisation of the tooth surface.
